The Centre for Incubation and Business Acceleration (CIBA), Verna organized a one day workshop on “Digital Marketing” on March 17. The workshop covered topics such as digital marketing planning, search engine optimisation (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, email marketing, social media marketing, content marketing, etc. It was attended by over 50 participants from diverse fields. The key speaker for the workshop was Balaji Chakravarthy, founder of Scovelo, a sales process consulting and training firm.
The digital marketing knowledge platform largely helped participants gain an insight on how to market products and services in easiest form. Most importantly, the workshop enlightened participants that advertising through digital channels require more knowledge investment and less of financial burden on promotions.
Through this workshop, CIBA aimed to reach startups and digital marketing enthusiasts on reaching potential customers with accurate marketing techniques. The workshop was coordinated by Amey Karmali, manager, CIBA.
