DBCE conducts audit course on industrial automation, solid works, 3D printing


Department of mechanical engineering, Don Bosco College of Engineering (DBCE), Fatorda conducted a two-week audit course on ‘Industrial Automation, Solid Works and 3D Printing’ for third year students. Topics covered were microcontrollers, Audrino programming, sensors, robotics, PLC programming and solid works followed by a hands-on sessions on the same. Resource persons were professor from department of ETC at GEC, Devendra Sutar; proprietor of Elementronix, Rajaram Parsekar; proprietor of Autotech, Sandeep Mone and Ryan Vaz from Infinty 3D. The sessions included 3D printing and its applications across various fields. Students also developed their own 3D prints.

Visiting faculty at DBCE, professor Anil Raikar delivered a talk on ‘Automation in Industry’ and was also the chief guest at the valedictory function.
