Transport Minister Sudin Dhavlikar announced on the floor of the House on Tuesday that his Dept. would terminate the old HSRP contract which was awarded to Shimnit Utsch Pvt Ltd for charging exorbitant rates for the number plates amounting to more than  1200 rupees per piece, After it was found that HSRP plates in West Bengal cost only Rs 469. He assured THE HOUSE a number plate will cost the same in Goa.
