Despite the chief minister Manohar Parrikar retaining the home portfolio himself, the incidents of thefts and robberies  in the state have failed to come down. Whatever may be the reason, the attitude of police is not helpful. On Tuesday, Panjim police failed to conducted panchanama of a robbery incident even after the victim went to file a complaint. Instead the police ordered the complainant to click photo of his vehicle on his own and submit it to police station along with his complaint. This attitude of police is shocking and needs to be investigated.
