The Goa police on Saturday held a joint meeting with hotel owners, casino operators, beauty-parlor owners and various other establishments who have employed the people from north-eastern region and sought their views over the security of the migrant workers in the state. The move comes in the wake of the feeling of insecurity among the north-eastern people after rumors started circulating that the people from this region would be attacked by a section of the society.
