The reduction in petrol price by 11 rupees in the state from 2nd of April could prove to be shortlived as the central government is expected to increase the petrol prices by 5 rupees which again will raise   the price to 60 rupees per liter. It is also expected that other Indian states under immense public pressure could follow suit.
