Hours after the Director General of Police Bhimsain Bassi stated that drugs are virtually non-existent in Goa, the Calangute police on Saturday made a major haul of synthetic drugs, estimated to be worth more than  Rs. 25 lakh. This is one of the large seizures of drugs made by the Goa Police and the ANC sleuths during the past 4 months.
