Chief minister Manohar Parrikar has said that 100 metres from a mobile tower  is a safe distance but assured the house to inquire into the extent of radiation caused by mobile phone towers when ponda MLA Lavoo mamledar  raised the issue of fear in the minds of ponda residents over the increasing number of mobile phone towers in the taluka.
