Devotees from various parts of Goa along with former residents of Curdi came together to celebrate the zatra of Lord Someshwar. Located in the submerged village of Curdi, the ancient Someshwar Temple is one of the few structures that still remains intact.
During the months of April-May, the water level decreases and the village of Curdi resurfaces. It is believed that during this time of year, Lord Someshwar pays a visit to his devotees.
Celebrations are held annually at the temple by devotees who seek his blessings.
