One of the reasons that so many people love snow is that it coats everything in a clean, “pure” white blanket. Snow woul­dn’t be snow if it wasn’t white. But if you think about it, it seems weird that snow is white at all, since it’s just a bunch of ice crystals stuck together.

Mystery of the Vanishing Island

A team of scientists from Australia decided to go check out Sandy Island in the Pacific Ocean east of Australia. By looking at the map and seeing its location, it seemed that Sandy Island would probably belong to France (there is a group of islands close to Sandy called the New Caledonia which is a French territory).

The dawn of November 8th saw me wake up bright and early, all excited to go on a field trip/ nature trip along with my Eco-Club friends from school and the teachers-in-charge to the one and only Dr. Salim Ali bird sanctuary situated on the western tip of the Island of Chorao along the river Mandov.
