‘Malegaon ka Superman’ was yet another film from the Malegaon film industry which is famous for their spoofs on famous films. After reading on how Shaikh Nasir (director of this film) and his men were ready to shoot a spoof on Hollywood’s ‘Superman’ with the simplest of equipment available, Faiza Khan a filmmaker from Mumbai decided to follow their every movement in a documentary ‘Supermen of Malegaon’.
