Karanna Viret—AIDS still misunderstood
Popular kantorist Ave D’Souza opened the tiatr ‘Karanna Viret’ with his composition ‘Tiatrist’ through which he lamented the lack of support to budding tiatrists by the established ones. He also hailed the efforts put in by the bygone tiatrists through his opening solo.

The cheerful Vivenda dos Palhacos lurks on a quiet village lane in Majorda. A model of an original Goan mansion, it boasts a rustic location, alluring aesthetic and fine fare. The boutique hotel is a tribute, a backstreet to Goa’s past, along with unique Indian elements.

Stars of Aldona opened the 38thTiatr Competition on September 24 with the play ‘Tension’. Penned and directed by Rosario Fernandes aka Rosario de Aldona, it casts of over twenty budding tiatrists and kantorists. Humberto Mendonca aka Robert de Calvim opened the tiatr with a solo.
