Balotelli agent denies Inter-City deal

ROME: Star teenage Italian forward Mario Balotelli’s agent on Monday denied that his client has signed a deal with Manchester City.
Earlier reports in the Italian press claimed the 19-year-old Inter Milan striker had already agreed a contract with the English Premier League side and that all that was missing was an agreement between the two clubs.

GFA’s physical fitness test for refs

PANAJI: The Goa Football Association (GFA) will be conducting the first physical fitness test for those referees who could not attend the last test. The same will be held on August 1 at the SAG Campal track. Referees should report at 6.30 am. This would be the last chance for the referees to be included in the active list for the year 2010-11.
