An exclusive workshop on Etiquette was organised by The Navhind Times-Planet J on Sunday, February 24, 2013, at Dempo House, Panaji. Conducted by Mrs Jean Rodrigues, an eminent expert on etiquette whose name is synonymous with class and style, the workshop was attended by girls in 13-16 age group. Due to the overwhelming response, twenty two lucky girls were chosen instead of the originally planned twenty. The objective of the three hour workshop was teaching the nuances of deportment, social graces, dressing, communication, personal grooming and dining etiquette to the future ladies of society.

Authentic Voice for Children and Young Adults’, a creative writing workshop was organized by The Navhind Times-Planet J on November 26, 2011, at Dempo House. Conducted by Margaret Mascarenhas, a consulting editor, art writer, independent curator, columnist and novelist, the workshop had as participants 24 children in the age group of 12-15 from different schools across the state.
