AG to represent PM in 2G case

NEW DELHI: Smarting under Supreme Court’s stinging observations, government Friday replaced Solicitor General, Mr Gopal Subramanium with Attorney General, Mr Ghulam Vahanvati to appear on behalf of the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh in the 2G spectrum issue saying he has to be "properly represented."

Raja ignored PM on 2G, says CAG

NEW DELHI: In a scathing criticism of former telecom minister, Mr A Raja for favouring industrial houses including Anil Ambani group, government auditor - Comptroller and Auditor General - Tuesday said Mr Raja allotted spectrum ignoring the Prime Minister’s advice and caused a loss of Rs 1.76 lakh crore.
