Ram Janmbhoomi Trust hails verdict

LUCKNOW:  The chairman of Sri Ram Janmbhoomi Trust, Mr Nritya Gopal Das on Thursday  welcomed the Allahabad High Court’s verdict on the Ayodhya title suit, but said they would challenge the decision to provide one third of the disputed land to Sunni Central Waqf Board in the Supreme Court.

Status quo in Ayodhya till SC takes up case: PM

NEW DELHI: The Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh on Thursday urged people to maintain peace and harmony in the wake of the Ayodhya verdict and also said the Allahabad High Court order needed to be examined ‘carefully’ and ‘status quo’ at the disputed site will be maintained until the cases are taken up by the Supreme Court.
