Case registered against Jose Philip, 93 supporters

VASCO: A case has been registered against the Revenue Minister, Mr Jose Philip D’ Souza and his 93 supporters for rioting and causing hurt to the former tourism minister, Mr Francisco alias Mickky Pacheco, while he was having his dinner at a hotel in Vasco on Tuesday evening, informed the Vasco police.

VASCO: A 15-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging herself with the help of a nylon rope at her residence at Cortalim on Wednesday. According to Verna police, the deceased was studying in class IX and had returned home after answering her exam paper.

79% complaints against govt servants did not have proof

Kishore Naik is new PMC chairperson

PONDA: Mr Kishore Naik, was on Tuesday elected as the new chairperson of the Ponda Municipal Council.
