MP Narendra Sawaikar appreciated the founder members of the school for providing education to local students since the Portuguese rule in Goa. Sawaikar said that it is the duty of everyone to help the school financially. He said, though funds from MPLAD are exhausted, he will help the school from his own
level.

Power Minister Nilesh Cabral said the school cannot get government grants for construction of a new building due to want of students’ strength. He said, “I as an MLA will see that the criteria of the strength of students will be removed and grants will be given”.

Prahar Sanvordekar said that since 2013 the school management is trying to have a new building. For want of students’ strength the government cannot sanction financial grants for the infra structure of the school. He thanked the Power Minister Nilesh Cabral for assuring his wholehearted support.

Sanvordem MLA Deepak Pauskar who is also the chairman of GSIDC said that about 500 students from Goa are being provided Rs 5,000 each for their education. He assured that he will try to provide financial assistance to the
