PANAJI: Samsung Electronics has announced the launch of Metro 3G - its new, stylish Metro phone with an all new metallic exterior offering 3G Connectivity. With the launch, Samsung has five, feature rich Metro Series of mobiles in its line up.

The Metro 3G offers users easy access to 9 social networking sites – Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, Picassa, Friendster, Photobucket etc. With the 3G (HSDPA) network, which is again a first in the Metro series and with SNS shortcut toolbar on the home screen, users can upload photos, send messages and stay in touch with their peers in the online space. Metro 3G also comes equipped with a chat messenger and supports GTalk, AIM and Palringo chat. The advanced multi-media features of the phone include – a realistic 3D sound experience, 3.2 Megapixel camera. The phone also has 105MB internal memory and a microSD support up to 16GB.
