PANAJI: Reliance Communications is close to signing an agreement with world’s second largest Apps Store company and US-based GetJar.

The agreement with GetJar will allow RCOM to offer a choice of over 50,000 additional msobile applications making it the largest Apps Store service offered by an Indian telecom operator in a single country. The tie-up with GetJar will allow RCOM to offer its Apps Store to a large bandwidth of mobile handsets across multiple brands and not remain restricted to a few high-end smart phones.  Reliance Communications will offer the GetJar Apps Store across GSM and CDMA networks through its R-World platform.
