PANAJI: The Punjab National Bank which has branches at Panaji, Mapusa, Margao and Vasco, will shortly open a branch in Ponda.

This was disclosed by the chairman and managing director of Punjab National Bank, Mr K R Kamath during his visit to Goa last week. During the visit, Mr Kamath also addressed a customer meet at Panaji in the presence of Mr S S Bhandari, field general manager, Mumbai and Mr S K Chopra, circle head, Pune. Mr Kamath also called on the Chief Minister, Mr Digambar Kamat at Margao.
