PANAJI: Mr Rajendra Paibir recently took over as the new Secretary of Mormugao Port Trust. Mr Paibir who was appointed by the Union Ministry of Shipping will head the General Administration Department of MPT.

Mr Paibir, a person of Goan origin, is a post graduate in Organic Chemistry and holds a Masters Degree in Administrative Management from the University of Mumbai. Before joining the Mormugao Port Trust, Mr Paibir was the traffic manager at Cochin Port.
