PANAJI: The State Directorate of Craftsmen Training has organised ‘Placement Fair 2010’ from August 29 to September 3 at various ITI centres in Goa. Officials from Tata Motors, Pune will be visiting Goa and interviewing ITI trainees at Honda ITI on August 29 and Farmagudi ITI on August 30 at 9.30 a.m.

Officials from industries in Corlim, Bethora, Kundaim besides MRF and Nestle Company, Khandepar, will hold interviews on August 31 from 9.30 a.m. at Farmagudi ITI. On September 1 from 9.30 a.m., officials from industries in Verna, Sancoale and Zuari Agro Chemicals, Zuari Nagar will hold interviews at GIDC Hall, Verna industrial estate.

On September 2 from 9.30 a.m., officials from industries in Karaswada-Tivim, Mapusa, Pernem, Pilerne, Binani Fibre Glass, Colvale and Nestle Company, Bicholim will hold interviews.

On September 3 from 9.30 a.m., officials from industries in Bicholim, Karaswada, Pissurlem, Nestle Company, Bicholim and MRF, Khandepar, will hold interviews at Valshi ITI, Bicholim.

Tata Motors, Pune requires about 500 ITI trained candidates, therefore those who passed ITI passed in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 are also invited to attend interviews along with the candidates who have appeared for AITT, July 2010. The entire placement fair is also open to ex-trainees of private ITCs and private institutes affiliated to Human Resource Development Foundation Society (HRDF).
