PANAJI: Residents of Panaji can now walk into the swanky Happy Days restaurant located near the municipal garden that gives an overseas downtown bistro feeling. Although its furnish appearance gives an upscale ambience, the bill of fare is reasonably competitive in pricing.
Happy Days is the blend of Hollywood and Bollywood style food served to locals and non-resident Indians visiting Goa, said Mr Colin Greenslade, a partner with Mr Mahesh Kharbe in the venture. He said, at Happy Days, family and kids are spoilt for choice as the children’s menu caters to all types of gastronomic delights.
With a total seating capacity of 120, the place is kids-friendly and a high chair is provided for toddlers. In line with the TGI Friday’s theme, set up all over Europe, Happy Days will soon be launched in Margao followed by other Goan cities.
Mr Greenslade said it is designed to hold employees outings, corporate meetings, get-togethers and has a couple’s corner.
Happy Days, which is a trading name of Happy Days Leisure Pvt Limited, is 98 per cent UK-owned. The balance two per cent is owned by an Indian Mr Mahesh Kharbe.
