PANAJI: A range of over 100 glinting crystal decorative products took centre stage at Hotel Mandovi, in an exhibition organised by Global Enterprises.

The three-day Global Crystal event which concluded on March 27 attracted over 350 crystal enthusiasts from all over Goa, “but what was more alluring,” said Mr Savio Cruz, managing director of Global Enterprises, “the visits by corporate executives”.
The crystal exhibition witnessed brisk sales and negotiations for bulk order, said Mr Cruz. “What surprised us were the advance order bookings by corporates for festivals seasons,” he said.
This has created new business developments for Global Crystal such as franchising and opening new showrooms around Goa, said Mr Shirodkar, its marketing development manager. Presently, the crystal wares are available at the company’s showroom in Porvorim, Carry Franklin will follow next.
Displayed were crystal candleholders and vases in different shapes and sizes imported from Czech Republic and Egypt and assembled in India. With a starting price of Rs 450 upwards, he said, the range of crystal ware products exhibited keeping in mind affordability and exclusivity and is ideal for home decor, gifts, corporate gifting, hotels, fine dining restaurants, exclusive restaurants in star hotels and event management firms. The exhibition attracted housewives, hoteliers, event management companies, restaurant owners, dealers in home products and others.
