PANAJI: Cidade de Goa wins Thomas Cook Marque of Excellence Award 2008 - 09. The award was presented to Cidade de Goa by Mr Mandi Watson, gateway manager, Thomas Cook Holidays Division – Goa.

Signed by Steve Barran and Richard Calvert, joint managing directors of Thomas Cook, the award has been presented to Cidade de Goa for customer recognition of exceedingly high standards of service and quality of accommodation.  Thomas Cook is the largest outbound Tour Operator in the UK. The Marque of Excellence award is given out to hotels that get consistently high CSQ (Customer Satisfaction Questionnaire) scores from their guests. The rating parameters being: accommodation,  reception service, cleanliness, furnishing and décor standard in public areas, bar service, quality and choice of  food, swimming pools, daytime entertainment, evening entertainment among others services.
