MAPUSA: The Calangute branch of Bank of Baroda celebrated the 102 years of the bank’s existence in the country. To mark the occasion, the bank organised an elocution competition for schools from the surrounding areas.

Mark Fernandes Memorial High School, Calangute bagged the top honours in juniors and seniors category with Rasul Budiyal and Yashodeep Jadhav winning in senior and junior category respectively. Ms Sanjana Salgaocar from the Holy Family High School, Fatima Khatif from Don Bosco, Calangute, Ms Arti Patil from Don Bosco, Calangute, and Sneha Sutar from Mark Fernandes Memorial High School bagged second and third place respectively, said a press release.
