Bookings open for TVS Apache RR310

If you want to start 2018 with a bang, then check out TVS Apache RR 310 coming soon in Goa showrooms. The motorcycle is expected to be on display anytime this week at the Thaly Motors showroom in Porvorim and bookings for it are open with a signing up amount of Rs 10,000. The delivery can be expected by end-January or early February 2018.

The Apache RR 310 sounds exciting because of its positioning as TVS Motor’s entry into the super-premium segment. It is a sports bike with reportedly perfect combination of race-craft technology and riding dynamics.

The 312cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, liquid-cooled engine is said to churn out 34 PS@9700 rpm and 27.3 NM@7700 rpm of power.  It is mated to a 6-speed super slick gear box that offers precise and sharp race-shift experience.  The motorcycle claims to give top speed of 160 kmph and acceleration from 0-to-60 kmph in just 2.9 seconds, thanks to an advanced aerodynamics package that promises the lowest coefficient of drag. In appearance the design looks stylish with an all-new, race origin, light-weight trellis-frame chassis for enhanced stiffness in straights, and flex for dynamic cornering capability. It is equipped with a race-inspired vertical speedo-cum-tachometer with 18 racing tell-tale diagnostics, and a comprehensive post-ride analysis.  The motorcycle is fitted with first-in-class bi-LED twin projector head lamps for maximum reach and visibility.  It is also outfitted with Michelin street sport tyres, and is the first sub-500cc motorcycle to use these.

The Apache RR 310 will be available in two colours- red and black for an ex-showroom price of Rs 2.05 lakh. It has ABS and electronic fuel injection system as standard features.

According to the company officials, “The Apache RR 310 marks a major milestone, as it ushers in a new era.” The bike’s launch is interesting because it is on the tenth anniversary of the Apache brand that is well-known for its sporty intent. Second, it marks 35 years of TVS Racing and is central to the development of the Apache RR models.
