Bank of India has celebrated the 112th Foundation Day recently in all 52 branches under the leadership of Prashant Naik, deputy general manager and zonal manger. Various activities were undertaken during the day. All the branches were decorated and illuminated, a customer friendly approach was created and full day was devoted for customer related activities. Officials initiated hand holding measures for various schemes such as Stand up India, APY, home loans, car loans, MUDRA, JLG finance and loans under local area based schemes.
To mark the day, officials undertook recovery and resolution of non-performing assets with upfront amount wherein 51 borrowers are given benefit. Emphasis was also given for OTS settlement in written off accounts.
Speaking at the celebration event, Naik pointed out that BOI is playing a big role in Goa due to focused approach on micro, small and medium enterprises, retail and agriculture lending. Besides efforts are on to take forward the vision of digital banking, he said.
