Bank of India (BOI) celebrated its founder’s day recently. All 52 branch offices marked the event with great festivity aimed at making relationship with the customer’s bigger, better and stronger. Customer meetings were held in the branches and new loans disbursed in agriculture, Mudra, SME, retail, housing and vehicle segments.
Ranked among the top five Indian banks, BOI has 5052 branches across the country. It also has international business centres and representative offices. All branches are on CBS platform. The network in Goa comprises 52 branches, 76 ATMs, 12 e-galleries and nine cash deposit kiosks besides the 56 branches.
Locally BOI is banker to many government departments, urban co-operative banks, co-operative society’s, panchayat bodies, municipal councils, schools, colleges. The bank has started an initiative to take the banking services to the door step of customers through the ‘Ghar ghar datsk”and Mahotsav every month for disbursement of new loans.
