Berger Paints India Ltd, hosted a sapling plantation ceremony as part of the government’s Swachh Bharat Mission in Kundaim,. The Governor, Dr Mridula Sinha who is also the brand ambassador of the Swacch Bharat Abhiyan for Goa,was the chief guest for the evening. Narayan Gad, managing director, Goa Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) was the guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Abhijit Roy, managing director and chief executive officer, Berger Paints India, said, “It has been an honorable moment for the company for being a part of such a great initiative. The company’s vision has always aimed to manufacture products which are sustainable. The sapling plantation activity is an innovative drive to foster teamwork, sensitize employees towards the environment and serve the society towards a greater cause. We are grateful that our efforts towards environment friendly causes are gaining visibility and we are chosen for hosting such campaigns.”
