BBV celebrates Independence Day

Bal Bharati Vidyamandir (BBV), Ribandar celebrated Independence Day on the school premises. The flag was unfurled by headmistress, Apolonia Fernandes.  Students expressed the joy of freedom by raising slogans.

In accordance with the circular of Swachhta Pakhwada, students and faculty members pledged to work towards keeping their homes, school and community clean.

Class 10 student Kaushik Dhulapkar delivered a speech emphasising the significance of the day. A small skit and patriotic song were presented by students of the primary section. The highlight of the programme was the patriotic dance performance by students of class eight. The program concluded with the National instrumental song ‘Vande Mataram’.
