Bar Be Que restaurant re-opens at Mapusa

PANAJI: Mayur Punjab Bar Be Que Restaurant established in Mapusa in 1977 by Harcharan Singh Chaddha has now re-opened with better services and an improved image. Son of Harcharan Singh Chaddha, Parminder Singh Chaddha who has been instrumental in giving  Mayur Punjab a new look, recalls that it was way back in  1977 when they had just started that they were the first people to sell tandoori chicken in Mapusa for just Rs 8. Parminder Singh Chaddha along with his wife Shallu Chaddha informed that with the improved look they have now introduced a new concept of barbeque on the table which is a first-of-its-kind in Goa and this would involve serving a ‘whole’ package of snacks and the main course in an unlimited quantity at just Rs 500 for a vegetarian course and Rs 600 for a non-veg course.
