Bank of Maharashtra was awarded with the prestigious Skoch Award for excellence in our national language. The bank topped in implementation of Hindi in day-to-day working. Dr N Muniraju, general manager (HRM and Rajbhasha) received the award in a grand function arranged at the Constitution Club, New Delhi on June 29.
Dr Rajendra Shrivastava, assistant general manager (Rajbhasha) and Dinesh Gupta, chief manager (Rajbhasha), Delhi zone were also present at the function. Bank of Maharashtra is the first bank to receive the award in the field of Rajbhasha in the banking industry.
The Skoch group focuses on best practices in finance, banking, technology, corporate, economics and the social sector. Skoch award is said to be the highest independently instituted (non-government) honour in India.
