Minor Punjabi girl rescued from Ponda

PONDA: The police personnel of Mogha-One (city) police station in Punjab, with assistance of Ponda police, on Friday arrested Raj Kumar, 21, and his brother, Vasant Jha, 28, both natives of Gopalgand, Kareghar, Bihar, from their rented room at Shantinagar, Ponda, for their involvement in the abduction and rape of a 15-year-old school girl.

PANAJI: The CII Goa Council Annual Day function was held recently. At the function, the Chief Secretary, Mr Sanjay Srivastava released a copy of the CII Goa Annual Report – SHAKTII, an acronym for ‘Sustainable Growth Through Health Care, Agriculture, Knowledge, Tourism, Infrastructure and Industrial Development’ which was also the CII Goa Council’s theme for the year 2010-11.
