Aumkar secures 28th spot in AIIMS entrance test

Aumkar Shah, a student of Cujira’s Mushtifund Aryaan Higher Secondary School, secured an all-India rank of 28 at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) entrance test. Talking about this achievement Aumkar said: “This is the best rank at AIIMS from Goa and it makes me the first Goan student to take admission in the prestigious AIIMS, New Delhi (the best medical institute in the country) as there are only 50 seats in the General category.

He is an alumnus of Sharada Mandir School which he says helped him build a strong foundation.  He has received a bronze medal in the ICSE class 10 board exams with 96.83 per cent and then pursued science at Mushtifund Aryaan Higher Secondary School, and received the Best Outgoing Student of the Year Award along with Super Student Award (PCB) in both class 11 and 12.
