Bank of India (BOI), Goa zone in association with I Create has recently organised a “Mentoring workshop for aspiring entrepreneurs” at the bank office, Patto. The programme was conducted under guidance of Prashant Naik, deputy general manager, Goa, and Subhash Phadate, deputy zonal manager. Manish Gosalia, regional director, I Create, provided in-depth inputs and skills to the participants with live examples. Yeshwant Kapdi, former general manger, SBI presented case studies to young entrepreneurs on breakeven point and marketing strategy. Bank officials, Arun Mendon and Pawan Kulkarni, spoke on various schemes in place.
This workshop was to assist the participants with the ability to avail loans under the Mudra scheme floated by the central government for budding entrepreneurs. Participants presented business plans and also worked on their cash flow, P&L and break even analysis. In all about 25 participants were present including women self-group members, homemakers, artisans etc. Vinayak Naik, senior manager, resource, compered the programme and Mayur Arsekar of I Create was the program co-ordinator.
