A 10-day immersion into the forms of sound and music to awaken and heal will begin on February 14 at Inner Temple, Moira.
The event which will have various sessions that will focus on the learning and development of the human being in areas of emotional, physical and spiritual well being will open at 5.30 p.m., followed by a solo dhrupad performance by Chiara Barbeiri at 6.30 p.m.
During these 10 days, participants will explore the sonic universe through meditations workshops and performances. And, since sound affects us all, there will also be 10 different workshops curated for children.
Karan Sajnani of Preventia Wellness, will share on ‘Sound as Medicine: A Vedic perspective’ on February 16, while Aurelio C Hammer of Svaram Sound Experience, Auroville will be presenting Nada Brahman: the Universe is Sound on February 19. Naida will guide participants through a crystal sound bath on February 20.
Dhrupad maestro, Ritwik Sanyal will take the participants on a journey within themselves with a workshop ‘Awakening The Sacred Voice’ on February 21 and 22 at dawn.
Music therapist, Stephen Phillip who is working in the Himalayas will also share his wonders with children. Antoine will host an a cappella singing workshop on February 23 and Sanj Hall will host an intensive gong workshop on February 24
Several artistes from the eclectic Goa music scene will be performing every evening at 6.30 p.m.
