To provide the student community with a platform to showcase their computing and other talents so as to bring out creativity and innovative thinking, the department of computer engineering, Agnel Polytechnic, Verna organised one-day technical event ‘Comphilia 2k19’.
The event was inaugurated by CEO and co-founder of Mrinq Technologies Goa, Rohin Parkar in the presence of principal, Alberto Freddie Dias; staff coordinator, Swizzle D’Silva; student coordinators Levin Mendes and lecturers of the department of computer engineering, Prathamesh Verlekar, Simao D’Cunha, Savio D’Souza, Shruti Mamledar and Radhika Prabhu.
In his address Parkar encouraged students to work towards fulfilling their dreams. He also enlightened them with his technical talk on ‘IoT and its Applications’ and urged them to find solutions through IoT for problems.
Founders of Earnestek, Shravan and Vaibhav delivered a talk on ‘Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning’.
Many technical and non-technical events such as showcase (paper presentation), blind coding, debugging, cryptography hunt, poster paint, tik tok, technography and dance were organised to test students’ technical.
