Adivasi Sangatna felicitates meritorious ST students

“The community in which we are living in or which we are a part of, we must know its history or else our future is in the dark,” said chairman of Ravindra Bhavan, Margao, Prashant Naik whilst speaking as the chief guest at the ninth meritorious ST student felicitation function organised by Adivasi Sangatna, Quepem, at Pope John XXIII High School in the presence of guest of honour, Favita Dias; Antonio Faleiro; president of Adivasi Sangatna, Caetano Carvalho; secretary, Joao Fernandes and treasurer, Lourence Vales.

Naik further stated that life is a challenge and only those who accept challenges come up in life. He went on to say Goan students lag when it comes to national level competition as they do not read as much.

Speaking on the occasion Dias said: “Through reading we increase our knowledge.” She urged the felicitated student read and make it a habit.

97 meritorious students were felicitated with memento and books.
