A walk through Goan heritage

In a bid to celebrate its unique legacy and Goan charm, Cidade de Goa organised a heritage walk at its premises. The event was hosted by Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL).

Embodying Goan culture and tradition in a resort, Cidade de Goa was designed by architect Charles Correa and launched in 1982. The aim of the walk was to showcase Cidade de Goa’s unique Goan architecture as well as the different sections of the resort such as the ‘House of Kadamba’, ‘House of Adil Khan’, ‘Docaria’, ‘cassas’, ‘Alfama’ restaurant, and balcaos which have been attracting a large number of patrons over the years.

South Asia’s largest hospitality company, IHCL launched a new hotel brand namely ‘SeleQtions’, a collection of named and distinctive properties. Cidade de Goa is part of IHCL SeleQtions along with several other hotels in Goa.
