Christmas is just a few days away and apart from all the cultural celebrations everyone is ready with their wishes. NT KURIOCITY spoke to a few youth to know about their Christmas wishes
Christmas is my favourite and the most awaited time of the year. This year has been dedicated to the poor. My wish this Christmas is for the poor, disowned, ill-treated or less fortunate to be able to celebrate the birth of Christ with the same fervour as my family. Sharing the true joy of Christmas with them would be the greatest and appropriate thing to do, not only this year but in the years to come. Let’s prepare ourselves for Jesus not by making sweets but by being sweet to others and spreading joy!
Tancia Pires, Goa Medical College, Bambolim
To me, Christmas is the most pleasant time of the year because of the climate, the happy times, exciting mood and mainly because it is the last week of the year, and I thank the year for being good to me. Every year I ask for happiness and health for myself, my family and friends. This year too, I wish that the coming year be full of surprises and may it create multiple moments to cherish and remember.

This Christmas I wish for world peace. Today, people kill each other for the silliest reasons. I wish nations could resolve their disputes peacefully instead of creating war and havoc. This could ultimately also end poverty and lead to a nation’s progress in the long run. A world in which everyone lives peacefully with love and joy, that’s what Christmas is all about.

Christmas is one of my favourite festivals and I wait eagerly all entire year for Santa Claus to fulfil my wishes. This Christmas I wish the roads towards Margao are repaired and that the 22-kilometre diversion idea gets substituted with something else or alternate short routes are found because going to work would be a hassle. I also wish that humans treat animals and the environment better. And lastly I wish for health and happiness for all.

I wish to see development in Goa in the fields of science and technology. I am looking forward to Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence taking Goa to the next level with respect to home automation, tourism, health care industry and government sector. IOT technologies can be used effectively to enable on demand maintenance and cleaning services. The reality isn’t far away if we all work together towards this goal.

Dear Santa! Can you send me an infinity box this Christmas? I could store my joys in it and have them grow infinitely. Also, send me an explosion box so I can dump my mishaps in the box and let them explode forever. All I wish for are these boxes.
